DAKAM's Humanities Fall '26 conference brings together four established DAKAM series—Literature and Criticism Studies, Refugees and Forced Immigration Studies, Memory Studies, and Gender and Women's Studies—under an interdisciplinary umbrella. Taking place in Istanbul on December 11, 2026, with both in-person and virtual participation formats, the event explores how narratives, memory, migration, and gender shape identities and societies. Organised by DAKAM, the conference offers a unique platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners worldwide to engage in cross-cultural dialogue and publish in a peer-reviewed proceedings e-book.
