The Seventeenth International Conference on Food Studies is the annual meeting of the Food Studies Research Network, hosted by Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. The event brings together researchers, practitioners, producers, and policymakers to explore how food systems shape and are shaped by ecology, health, economy, and culture.
Conference theme
Food, Care, Labor: The Politics of Everyday Life
Objectives
To examine everyday practices, relationships, and systems through which food is grown, prepared, distributed, shared, consumed, regulated, and imagined, addressing pressing global issues such as food insecurity, public health, climate change, and agricultural and hospitality labor.
Who should attend
Scholars, educators, practitioners, policymakers, producers, artists, designers, community organizers, and students working at the intersection of food, culture, health, environment, economy, and social life.
