The overarching objective of this conference is to emphasise the importance of physiological understanding and translational science in addressing daily clinical challenges in intensive care.

Objectives

The conference aims to explore the physiological mechanisms, biological principles and translational concepts that underpin clinical practice, differing from traditional clinical meetings focused primarily on evidence from randomised controlled trials and guidelines.
