Papers and presentations are in English.
The symposium is organised by the UESTC Shenzhen Institute for Advanced Study, with Edinburgh Napier University, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Qilu Agricultural University, Dongguan University of Technology, Hebei University of Technology and the University of Glasgow as co-organisers. Its topics cover core intelligent technologies and algorithms, robot motion, interaction and control, intelligent robot systems and components, and application-specific robots.
Registered and presented full papers will be included in the ISoIRS 2027 digital conference proceedings and submitted to citation databases including Ei Compendex and Scopus for review and indexing. The 2025 and 2026 proceedings were published by IEEE.
Outline programme (China time, GMT+8; the organisers say it may change, and the final programme will be sent to participants around the end of March 2027):
- 23 April: registration (09:00–18:00), AI tutorial (14:00–17:00), evening reception at the venue (18:00–20:00)
- 24 April: main conference — keynotes I and II in the morning, keynotes III and IV in the afternoon; evening banquet
- 25 April: keynote V and the 2nd Embodied Intelligence and World Model Workshop in the morning; optional social visits in the afternoon
Oral presentations are 15 minutes including questions.
