The Eleventh International Conference on Communication & Media Studies offers an interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of the role of the media and communications in society. The 2026 conference focuses on the special theme 'The Image as Advocate: Shaping Cultural Conversations'.

The Image as Advocate: Shaping Cultural Conversations
Objectives
To examine how visual media act as active agents in shaping cultural conversations, documenting injustice, and framing narratives across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries.
