The Advanced CIED Course provides physicians already trained in pacemaker and implantable defibrillator therapy with an overview of advanced device therapies for daily clinical practice.

Objectives

This course will provide physicians already trained in pacemaker and implantable defibrillator therapy, with an overview of advanced device therapies for daily clinical practice. The 2.5 days course will focus on 1) leadless pacing and extra-vascular defibrillators 2) conduction system pacing and 3) lead extraction.

Who should attend

Device specialists who have attended the EHRA Cardiac Pacing and ICD resynchronisation course and the EHRA CP exam, or who already have good experience with standard transvenous CIED implantation and follow-up who wish to take their practice to the next level.
