The 34th European Congress on Obesity (ECO2027) is held as a joint congress with the 15th IFSO European Chapter Congress (IFSO-EC 2027), from 18 to 21 May 2027 at the International Congress Center München (ICM) in Munich, Germany, under the theme Together We Transform Obesity!
The scientific programme runs in four tracks — Basic Science; Behavioural Science and Public Health; Childhood and Adolescent Obesity; and Obesity Management and Intervention — with EASO teaching workshops, topic sessions, abstract sessions and plenary lectures alongside a parallel IFSO-EC programme of teaching workshops, topic sessions, abstract sessions and plenaries. Sessions are spread across nine halls, from Hall 1 (4,000 seats) to Hall 9 (200 seats), with the exhibition, posters and breaks in Hall B1.
The congress opens on Tuesday 18 May with teaching workshops, the EASO and IFSO-EC opening plenaries, the joint opening ceremony and a welcome reception, and closes on Friday 21 May with the closing plenaries and the closing ceremony.
The official congress organiser is Figur International. The organisers warn that scam emails are circulating: trust only messages from the @figurint.com domain.
