Internal and primary care medicine cover the general care of adult patients, in the community and in hospital, including diagnosis across organ systems, chronic disease management, infectious diseases and preventive care. Events are dominated by broad clinical update courses, often accredited for continuing medical education and pitched at generalists. Delegates include internists and family physicians, hospitalists, nurse practitioners and physician associates, trainees, and primary care teams.
