Dear Colleagues,

Successfully held in Singapore, Beijing (China), and Okinawa (Japan), Salamanca(Spain) in the past four years, ICMESM is an annual conference that explores the development and implications in the related fields of Material Engineering and Smart Materials with an objective to present the novel and fundamental advancements.
As a workshop of ICMSN 2021, it serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving Material Engineering and Smart Materials related techniques.

The three-day event will take place from Wednesday through to Friday 20 - 22 October 2021 at the NH Collection Hotel, Grand Sablon, Brussels. The Conference is the culmination of a year-long series of ETRA-led and supported activities and events that focused on market development and expansion for a broad array of recycled tire materials, products, and applications.

At the end of last year, when we last updated this website and announced the postponement of SMiRT 26 to July 10 through 15, 2022 we also indicated a renewed preparation timeline. Herewith, we would like to inform you that we are taking the next step in organizing our anniversary in-person conference in Berlin/Potsdam.

The Fifteenth International Congress on Artificial Materials for Novel Wave Phenomena – Metamaterials 2021, will comprise a 4-day Conference (August 2-5), and a 2-day Doctoral School (August 6-7).

ICSE 2021 Goes Virtual

The current trends in the global Covid-19 pandemic make it very unlikely that we will be able to hold a physical conference in Madrid in May 2021 with sufficient assurances of safety. It is with great sadness that​ we announce that ICSE 2021 and its co-located events and workshops will be held virtually.​ We did not take this decision lightly, but we believe that going fully virtual is the right way forward.

International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology Conference (Beijing) 2021 will be held from 30 March - 1 April 2021 in Beijing, China. At the same time, IPPTC will be equipped with the 22nd China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Exhibition.
