Conference Objective and Philosophical Framework

The International Conference on Sustainable Development is organized by the European Center of Sustainable Development in collaboration with CIT University.
The 9th ICSD 2021 is inspired by the critical challenge of human, environmental, and economic sustainability concerning the present and future generations in a global-scale context.

The Conference theme is:

"Creating a unified foundation for the Sustainable Development: research, practice, and education".

The FISU World Conference on Innovation – Education – Sport will be held during the Lucerne 2021 Winter Universiade on 13 and 14 December 2021.

Under the main topic Challenges and Opportunities in Sport in modern society researchers will focus on three subthemes: Dual career / Digitalisation / Women in top-class sport.

15th ESA Conference, 31 August - 3 September 2021 to be held in Barcelona / Spain

Every other year since 1992, the European Sociological Association organizes a big conference in different European countries. From 31 August to 3 September 2021, 3000 participants from all over the world are expected to come to Barcelona, Spain for the 15th ESA Conference dealing with "Sociological Knowledges for Alternative Futures".
