Seda Unsar got her BA from Koç University, and PhD from USC (University of Southern
California). Having completed her term as a visiting scholar at London School of Economics,
and as a Max Weber postdoctoral scholar at EUI (European University Institute), she joined
the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Yeditepe University as an
Associate Professor. Her research interests include: the political economy of Ottoman
institutional modernization, secularism, Western political thought, and Islamic political
thought, the political economy of neoliberalism, and the Middle East.
